The sculpture measures 25 ½” high x 4 ft. of sculpted “river” in length x 7″d
Can be commissioned as a monumental piece for a fishing lodge or Western home.
“A River Runs Through It” was initially created for a collector in Colorado
as a gift for her husband, who is a fly fisherman.
The title was borrowed from one of his favorite movies, “A River Runs Through It”.
It incorporates an actual model of a fly fishing pole, as well as an authentic fly.
The angler is caught in the moment of hooking the fish, which is abstractly in the shape of a heart.
The stones were collected from the “Frying Pan” – the collector’s husband’s favorite river.
