Tondo The Elephant Girl

  • Description

5”h x 3 1/2”w x 3 1/2”d

base – Marble
3″h x 3″w x 3″d

When my child was three years old,
she would love to get dressed up
in sparkles and feathers.
We took her everywhere with us –
after theatre dinner parties at 1:00 a.m.,
NYC Central Park carriage rides,
New Hampshire walks in the snow,
and Florida moonlight walks on the beach.

Her father would carry her around
on his shoulders.
As she rode in all her tiny glory,
we would call her
“Tondo the Elephant Girl”.
